What's your pick for Mother's Day?

Hey moms, I'm curious: what is your idea of the best Mother's Day gift? In a recent weekly email I received from BabyCenter.com, there was a poll they have going for "What's the best Mother's Day Gift."

Their options were:

My husband has asked me what I want for Mother's Day, and honestly I'm stumped. A spa day sounds heavenly, but it isn't something that would last, and unfortunately, the practical side of me says I shouldn't waste money on something that will be gone so soon (like flowers or chocolate - and heaven knows I don't need the chocolate!)

But what's your idea of a good gift? Ideally, as moms, we should say "oh, anything my kids make is perfect!" but if we're honest (and assuming a gift is coming from our husbands), what would you choose if you could? Something from this list or would you choose "other"? The results from the poll were interesting, with the largest percent of moms saying exactly what I thought they would (is it really because that's what we want or is it out of a sense of obligation?) - that anything their kids make them is their ideal gift. That was 29% of the responses. The next popular at 25% was a gift certificate to a spa (so I don't feel like too much of a heel for choosing that option instead of a homemade gift from my kids...)

Oddly enough, with as much as the media would have you believe that "diamonds are a girl's best friend," only 10% said they'd want jewelry, and candy, well, I guess most of us are considering our new "mommy bodies" that just never seemed to return to normal after our wonderful kids came along - only 1% said they'd want candy! (Maybe it's just because candy is something we can easily buy for ourselves without feeling much guilt about the $$?)

Whatever your idea of a perfect gift, I hope you have a wonderful Mother's Day - and while you're at it, don't forget your own mother!
