This week we'll see the end of 2008. What an incredible, exciting year... Wednesday of this week is the last day of the year, and Thursday we welcome 2009. Funny, some people thought the world was going to end with the 1999/2000 year change. And remember how we were all worked up over the Y2K computer catastrophe? Well, I guess it just goes to show you that you can never know what the future holds!
Anyway, while we wait for this New Year's holiday, there are a few other things we can celebrate, and a few others after New Year's just in case you're not done celebrating! This week, these are the holidays we have to look for...
December 29: Pepper Pot Day
December 30: National Bicarbonate of Soda Day
December 31: Make Up Your Mind Day
New Year's Eve
Unlucky Day
January 1: New Year's Day
January 2: Run up the Flagpole and See if Anyone Salutes Day
