The 2008 Olympics have begun!

Friday, August 8th, the 2008 Olympic Games began. As much as I'm not a big fan of watching sports - live or televised, I do wish I could have been there for the opening ceremonies. It appears that there was nothing short of a fantastic display.

While the games have begun, we won't have final results for about another week and a half, so we'll have to keep an eye on the TV to see how it goes and who takes home the golds. The games will run for two weeks until they conclude with the closing ceremony on August 24th. Enjoy the competition!
