Test your groundhog knowledge

This is kind of embarrassing to admit, although since I have no reason to know anything about groundhogs I guess I shouldn't be! I found this quiz to "test your groundhog smarts" on MSN. Out of the only five questions they asked, I got a whopping zero right. The intro to the quiz says "If you do well, you'll be allowed to join the Groundhog Club's Inner Circle, a highly selective group charged with coordinating the yearly event and keeping the tradition alive." Well, apparently I won't be welcomed into the inner circle, but I suppose I also have to admit that I'm far from heartbroken over it.

Test out your own knowledge and hopefully you'll score at least a little bit better than I did! (Oh, and don't think that having seen the movie Groundhog Day will give you an edge.) The neat thing about this quiz is that it doesn't just say you got X number of the questions right or wrong, it gives you the correct answer and then tells you a little bit about the question it asked.

Fun fact that I learned from all this - did you know that Punxsutawney Phil is supposedly around 120 years old? I wonder how many times they've replaced the poor groundhog over the years? Kind of like the goldfish that the parents replace so their kids don't know it's died...
