Take your what to work?

The holiday actually falls on Saturday, but since that's not so much fun, maybe we can celebrate a day early? October 11th is Take Your Teddy Bear to Work Day - now how funny is that? I can't say that I've ever participated in this holiday, although I've been fortunate to have worked in pretty laid-back offices, so I don't know that anyone would have really said anything. And since I've always been the "baby" of the offices I've worked in, even if they DID say something, it would most likely be a joke about the bear...

Teddy_Bear.jpg Now that I work from home, taking my teddy bear to work just doesn't have the same effect, and I do spend a lot of time with toys in general. Maybe I'll let my son take his teddy bear along for the ride tomorrow as we run our errands. Although really, who's going to think anything of a toddler carrying around his stuffed animal? I guess the only restriction I need to put on this holiday is that his beloved "Doggie" cannot go - he'll have to choose something else. (We only have one "Doggie," and if we lost him, we'd be in BIG trouble. We've even searched online for a replacement we could order - no luck!)

So, if you dare, take your teddy bear to work today - or if you'd rather not, make sure you give him an extra snuggle on Saturday (and apologize for being too "grown up" to have him tag along!)
