Say goodbye to September!

This week has some really odd holidays, among them Name Your Car Day and Virus Appreciation Day. I don't know about you, but to me a car is a great thing to have, and I appreciate that mine gets me where I want to go without breaking down, but naming it is just something I don't see as necessary... And Virus Appreciation? Well, do I really need to explain why I think that one's a weird holiday?

However, there are a few good ones this week! World Vegetarian Day is Wednesday, and while I'm not a vegetarian, I do believe that fruits and veggies are extremely healthy and wish I could find easier and cheaper ways to get more of them into my family's diet. I especially like the new V8 juices they have out - you know the ones that claim to have a full serving of fruits and vegetables in each glass? Making it easy is a great thing!

And then there's Techies Day. Considering my husband is in computers, this is a great holiday to surprise him... now let's just see if I can come up with something creative that won't embarrass him at the office...
