I can't say that I know much - or anything really - about this particular holiday, but I just wanted to note that it begins tomorrow! It will be celebrated for two days, ending Tuesday. Rosh Hashanah celebrates the Jewish New Year, and is considered one of the holiest days of the Jewish Year. This year marks year 5769 in the Jewish calendar. Just a bit ahead of the 2008 calendar!
This holiday celebrates the creation of the world, or the creation of man, (I've read two different explanations of this) but, either of which is something I suppose we should all be thankful for! So, if this is a holiday you celebrate, Happy Rosh Hashanah!
