Thinking about hosting a Valentine’s Day party? AllRecipes.com has some really great ideas – so neat actually that I wish I had the time and energy to throw one myself!
Start off by setting the “mood,” even if you’re hosting a child’s party, decorations can really add to the party. Food is another thing to think about, as well as the activities you have planned. Consider a few of these ideas:
1. Wrap your front door with colored paper – preferably red, white, or pink.
2. Provide carnations for everyone as they come in, using pins to attach them.
3. Using red lipstick, write a Valentine’s Day message on the bathroom mirror
4. Decorate your table with a pretty tablecloth and sprinkle with heart confetti or conversation hearts or other candies
5. One word: candles (consider only doing this for adult parties)
6. Have sugar cookies baked and ready to decorate.
7. Have construction paper and decorations available for your guests to make valentines – or white paper bags to decorate for putting their valentines
