May 8th and 9th's holidays

This year on Thursday, we'll be celebrating the following holidays:

Iris Day
No Socks Day
V-E Day
World Red Cross Day / World Red Crescent Day

I wanted to go ahead and tell you what Friday the 9th holiday were since one of them goes with the May 8th "No Socks Day." On the 9th, we have these holidays:

Lost Sock Memorial Day
Military Spouses Day

I guess we have to have a memorial the day after to mourn the socks we lost because we weren't wearing them... Too funny!

On a more serious note, the V-E Day is a great holiday to celebrate. It is "Victory in Europe Day," and on this day we celebrate the end of the fighting in Europe during WWII. That's definitely something worth celebrating!
