You know, I purposely did not tell my husband about "Video Game Day" because I figured that he didn't need an excuse to disappear into his beloved video games. Well, I was saved from one night of game play, only to lose him to it tonight... Apparently, one of his co-workers had connections and was able to get him a Wii - which is even now still hard to find. Now granted, I was going to get this for him for Christmas, but like I said, the demand was so high and the supply so low that even though I called several game stores daily, obviously I didn't get one. So, he got shorted for Christmas this year.
The point of that was I was hoping if he got the game console early he would be able to play and get it out of his system... well guess what?! It looks like we'll be celebrating our own "video game day" for a while here at the Clemmer house! Oh well. I can't deny him this one pleasure.
