Last week of October holidays

Looks like we've got a lot more going on this week than just Halloween! Starting with telling stories on Monday, stuffed animals Tuesday, Frankenstein on Wednesday, candy corn on Thursday, and ending with four different things to celebrate on Friday, this week certainly has enough to keep us all busy! Check out the various holidays below:

October 27: National Tell a Story Day - in Scotland and the U.K.
Navy Day

October 28: Plush Animal Lover's Day

October 29: Hermit Day
National Frankenstein Day

October 30: National Candy Corn Day
Mischief Night

Just thought I'd share this video - I've been seeing it over and over and over.... since we pretty much keep the TV on the Sprout channel - it's great for toddlers - I see it constantly. For this reason alone will I be glad to see the holiday pass! (And who doesn't like candy corn? It's practically pure sugar!)

October 31: Carve a Pumpkin Day - no surprise here
Frankenstein Friday - last Friday in October
Halloween
Increase Your Psychic Powers Day

Funny, I would have though that Mischief Night would have fallen on the 31st go correspond with Halloween. Go figure. Well, I guess this gives some people an excuse for two nights of mischief! Don't get to crazy now!
