Just what is tatting anyway?

Besides being April Fool's Day, today is also International Tatting Day. Tatting is a form of needlework that creates lace instead of embroidery. In case you're craft minded and it sounds interesting to you, check this out:

These two videos are just a beginning, but you get the idea. Looks neat, but terribly time-consuming, and considering I don't even have time to get my craft room organized much less actually DO any of my crafts, I guess I'll have to pass... Although look at how beautiful a finished product can be!
