Interested in a Halloween Trick or Treat Swap?

If you're the crafty sort, and by that I mean you like to make things, not are you sneaky, then Blackberry Creek's Halloween swap may be just the thing for you! All you have to do is send in an email to suscleve@aol.com by September 15th - that doesn't give you long! - and your swap partner will be assigned the next day. You'll have until October 15th to get your goodies sent out. Here's how it works:

You will need to send one handmade item - it doesn't have to be specifically handmade by you, but as long as it's not "store-bought handmade" it will work. (Oh, and no "Made in Taiwan" handmade stuff either.) Oh, and it has to be Halloween themed. Then, you will need to add at least three more (small) Halloween items that can be either handmade or purchased, and they don't need to cost you an arm and a leg.

The point here is to share some nice Halloween stuff with someone else - kind of like a pen pal that you've never met before! You do have to be willing to give your info, so be prepared to provide your name, address and email so that your partner can be given your info and they can ship your Halloween goodies to you.

I think it sounds like a neat idea myself. I'm debating whether or not I want to participate - only because I'm so pressed for time, and I'd like to make the handmade something myself... If you choose to participate, you'll have to let us know how it goes! Good luck and happy swapping!
