Happy belated Mother's Day to you

I hope that all you mothers had a wonderful Mother's Day yesterday! I kept thinking all day that I needed to post something, if nothing else, just a quick "Happy Mother's Day" note. But the day was full of places to go and people to see, so it never happened...

We celebrated our Mother's Day something like this: At church first thing in the morning, they did a few drawings to crown one mother "Queen for the day" and other cute door prizes, and every mother got a chocolate rose. After church, we headed over to my grandmother's house to have lunch with her and that side of the family. Since my little boy had about had it, we took him home for a brief nap, after which there was another dinner at my other grandmother's house. It was nice to have everyone get together to celebrate all the moms. Everywhere I went (even during this past week!) people have been wishing me a "Happy Mother's Day!"
