Happy 3rd week of September!

Check out all the stuff we have to celebrate this week! Tuesday alone hosts 6 different holidays! Again, there are some really oddball things to celebrate, like today's holiday where men traditionally get out their fall/winter hats for Felt Hat Day. Considering hats aren't something most people wear any more, this one is kind of getting lost as far as a holiday goes... maybe that's why they came up with the other holiday for today - Make a Hat Day - to bring hats back! (I'll stick with my baseball cap, thanks!)

Tuesday has a great holiday for Working Parents - this holiday is to celebrate all they do for their families and the sacrifices they make so that they can provide for them. A well-deserved holiday I think!

cheeseburger.jpg Wednesday and Thursday both have food to celebrate - Apple Dumplings and the great favorite - the Cheeseburger! If you've been reading my blog for long, you probably know I don't need a reason to celebrate food! (Especially a good cheeseburger!)

Wednesday and Friday also celebrate some more serious things in their holidays set to honor the Constitution and POW/MIAs.

And, lastly, I wanted to point out Thursdays holiday that for some reason the local radio stations seem to love each year as it comes around. (I don't know what the fascination is with this holiday but they always seem to love that it's here...) Talk Like a Pirate Day is this Thursday, so don't be caught off guard if someone comes up to you and sounds like they stepped out of a Pirates of the Caribbean movie!

Have a great week!
