Gift ideas for your teachers

I came across these gift ideas in a Womans Day magazine from last December. Although I'm sure they were meant for Christmas, they work just as well any time of year. If you're looking for a way to show your appreciation for your,or your child's teacher, here are some ideas to get you started!

Gift Cards - Gift cards or certificates of any denomination are sure to be appreciated. Even if it's a gift certificate for a free lunch at Chic-fil-a!
Homemade Food - Putting a little of yourself and your time into a gift is always appreciated, and it's a great way to show you care.
Your Sincere Thanks - A personal, handwritten note or card really says a lot, and it's a great way for small children to put their writing and grammar skills to use! To make it extra special, a homemade card just tops off the gesture!

Be creative - you don't have to spend a fortune, and considering many kids have multiple teachers, it would be easy to do so if you bought gifts for each one of them. Think outside of the box and you'll be able to come up with something that will take only a little more time than money, and will mean more in the long run!
