Don't forget to reset your clocks!

Clock.jpg March 8th - Daylight savings time - I can't quite figure it out. I know it began YEARS ago, and I know there was a perfectly good reason for it then... but now? Well, I just can't seem to get the reason behind moving our clocks up and then back twice a year. All it seems to do is make us lose and then gain a little sleep... not to mention it makes the days appear longer or shorter depending on what time of year it is.

Interestingly enough, I found out that daylight saving time is "NOT observed in Hawaii, American Samoa, Guam, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, the Commonwealth of Northern Mariana Islands, and Arizona." Oh, and that also it's officially supposed to be "Daylight Saving Time" (no "s" on the "Savings") - who knew?

I guess I shouldn't complain - since I'm not a morning person, it IS nice to have a little more daylight at the end of the day, although in the winter it comes back to bite me in creating less daylight during the day since I don't get up early. *sigh*

Anyway, don't forget to reset your clocks! I myself am guilty of showing up for church early and late due to forgetting!
