December 14th predicted as busiest online shopping day!

Black Friday is a distant memory and mall-shopping is in full swing up here in the Great White North. So now it's time for the cyber shops to get into the holiday swing of things! The web savvy folk at Cybersource Corp. say that online shoppers are doing their Christmas shopping a little early this year. Since the peak day in 2003 was Decmber 15th and it was December 17th in 2002. Wow, folks...I can't believe that people do their shopping this late! I mean sure I'm at the mall on Christmas Eve day (cursing my forgetful self) but I always order my online gifts by at least the first week in December. Owning a small, online boutique myself I know how shipments always seem to take just a little bit longer than they should. And believe me nothing's worse than getting the gift that you ordered for your Mother-in-Law on December 26th (ask me how I know)! If you're in Canada and ordering from the U.S. don't forget about customs delays as well (of course you can skip that hassle all together by ordering locally). So my online friends my advice to you is order early; then you can relax, make cookies, write letters, and enjoy the happy holiday season!
