An unusual Mother's Day gift

Okay, we've all heard about the typical gift ideas for Mother's Day. Flowers, cards, candy, jewelry, you know, the same kind of gifts one would give for Valentine's Day. However, there are many different ways you can break out of the mold and be unique. For example, see Margalit's post on the Mother's Day gift guide.

But if you're wanting to be really radical, and you've got a pretty radical mom, you should check out Ann Cardinal's article on BC Magazine about her nephew and sister's choice of celebrating Mother's Day. They didn't stick with the typical gift, but decided to get matching mother-son tattoos. Yep, tatoos.
