An Apple a Day...Christmas Day that is!

According to Marketwise.com downloads at the Apple Itunes Music Store were up 413% on Christmas Day this year (versus Christmas Day 2005). Now I know where everyone spent all of their Christmas money! For the third holiday season in a row, the iPod has been the must-have Christmas gift," said Bill Tancer, general manager of global research at Hitwise. The increase in downloads is attributed to new iPod owners rushing to Apple’s site to download iTunes. An iPod really is the gift that just keeps on taking...I mean giving. New tunes for the New Year; I'm pretty sure that's a good thing!
