A few more baby safety helps and hints

With September being Baby Safety Month, there's a lot for new parents to think about as ways they can keep their kids safe. Luckily, there are also a lot of resources to help them do just that.

Tip Toe Turtle is celebrating Baby Safety Month up right - they're "highlighting JPMA certified baby gear and publishing articles on our sites that provide safety tips." (JPMA - Juvenile Products Manufacturer’s Association, Inc.) Currently, they've got a list of 10 sites for things such as strollers, carriers, car seats, even bike trailers (I SO want to get one of these...) to check out.

Mom Gadget has recommended checking out Diapers.com - which I originally thought focused mainly on diapers - for baby safety items. The site also points us to Safe Kids USA, which has a ton of info for parents there!

SafetyMate is a site devoted entirely to safety - which fits perfectly with this month's "holiday!" I especially like the suggestion to give gifts at a baby shower that will help parents keep their family safe instead of just the typical cute outfit that the baby will outgrow before they really get a chance to wear it!
