125 ways to say I love you!

It’s so easy to get stuck in the rut of the typical ideas for Valentine ’s Day gifts. With the enormous selection of candy, cards, flowers, and of course, don’t forget the lingerie, not to mention the fact that no one has time anymore, it can be hard to get creative in the gift department. I read a blog just the other day that really reminded me how easy it CAN be to show someone you love them without resorting to the traditional trappings of the commercialized Valentine’s Day. And, the best part is, most of the ideas on the list are free, and they really do say “I love you,” because they’re actions rather than actual gifts.

BlondieLv’s Vox has a list of 125 ways to say “I love you” – and the funny thin is that most of the ideas on the list are so easy and just take a little bit of time on your part. Ideas like leaving your favorite picture of the two of you in his car visor, or leaving notes in a book he’s reading, leaving mistletoe up year-round and actually kissing each other when you stand under it, all things that may take a little thought and planning, but are easy on even the tightest budget and schedule.

So this year for Valentine ’s Day – and all year round for that matter – get a little creative, think outside of the box if you will, and show your love and appreciation for each other with style!
